Management and committees were next ... and nothing more than that. Oh, pretty. Just for fun, I tried my maiden name. I wanted to see if the results were the same, like some of those quizzes you see on Quizilla. I didn't find any digital traces at all. Well, it IS an unusual last name. I shouldn't have been so surprised. Here's the weird part. It changes. I tried my married name again, and got mostly geneology and committees, then media and management, then politics, medical and sports. I think I like the other one better! The site supposedly tries to find your "online identity" based on searches of your name. Think the Google game, but with "purty" colors. I guess as the number and nature of search rankings change, so does your "spectrum". Or something like that. I wouldn't be surprised if my "band" changes considerably a week from now. My husband's "band" is varied and really attractive. So are my son's and daughter's. I guess there are far more many people with their names than with mine. I'm jealous! Media, music and Accident were the biggies, with family, professional, fashion and religious equal seconds. Actually, that's all there was. Er.... fashion? And what's "accident"? My ex married name... all the bits were also actually me.... huh. Books, music, religion, online, news and art, in that order (with books the biggest. Given that all of my online mag book reviews and articles were written while I was married, that makes sense). Plus lots of teeny other little things. Under Bethgael.... Weirdly, it only pulled up 2 bits to analyse, and both were from the same quote and all they really said was that I was right about something (I don't know what). Social, fame, illegal, sports and legal. Er.... I wonder what I've been doing when I haven't been paying attention????? I think it might've been from the old Saints forum. That'd explain the sports, at least. (Oh. GO SAINTS!!!!!!!) Citizen of the Republic of Evil Bunnies 2-Sep-09 07:16:14	Sorry about the "l". Strangely, NOTHING in the descriptions were about me. Or maybe not so strangely. I'm pretty quiet in real life, and don't use my real name. I very rarely use my FIRST name anywhere! This is why I don't invite people to my Facebook profile .... I'm not using my real name. Just for fun, I again used the name most people call me (Nickname + married name). Before, I used my full name. This band is MUCH prettier, though apparently, there are a lot of mentions in health and politics about certain people in particular who share my name. This time around, it was politics, followed closely by social, followed by medicine, then movies, then news/professional/sports/committees. Next, education and travel, then very small wedges of fame and domestic, and then the smallest wedge ... medical. (But isn't that the same as medicine? Oh, well.) One of them correctly identified several members of my family, which is mildly disturbing. Biggest categories were family and sports... I have no idea how the latter happened. Everything else is about the same. (Second runthrough gave same quotes with results being online and fame, followed by management and domestic, followed by a handful of other stuff. Books, art, and education being the obviously applicable among them. Politics, aggression, and illegal causing me to raise an eyebrow. ----Unless the system knows who my roleplay muses are, in which case that all makes perfect sense to me. And I got sports and movies, too, since I've already listed everything else.) Non-nickname real name... apparently someone with my name works in a health department somewhere in Illinois. Who knew? Funny, at least as of a couple years ago, the results from a google search on this version are actually me. I've never run across this health worker person before. That one had a huge ton of categories, the biggest being social. Jiangling is apparently an alternate name for the city of Jingzhou, and a company that is partnered with Isuzu. Also, apparently an industrial park somewhere? I liked these: "JIANGLING IS 30% OWNED BY FORD AND BASED IN NANCHANG, SOUTHERN CHINA" and "THE CITY DIALING CODE FOR JIANGLING IS 716" Unsurprisingly, the top category was Management. Amusingly, followed by sports, education, and <i>illegal</i>. I wonder if I might secretly be a corrupt company? Hm. And I believe that we'll conceive to make in hell for us a heaven, a brave new world, a promised land, a fortitude of hearts and minds.
