I am going to try something different with this. Will keep installments short and sweet with the idea of frequent(heh) updates.

Bryan could not help but smile, it had been so long since he had last seen a look of happiness on his wife's face; the warmth he felt was overwhelming. It was worth every penny it cost to move out west and buy the immense house they were now standing in. Finally, they could move on with their lives.
"Well…" He patiently stood beside her as she took in the entire view of the picturesque sunken living room.
"I love it!" She brought her hands to her face, "Its…perfect."
He leaned in and kissed her on the head. "Just wait until you see the backyard."
"I can't believe this…I can't believe you did this. Your business…everything…" She began to sob into her hands.
"I can always start another one. Your happiness is worth giving everything up."
She fell into his arms and he held her tight. She continued to cry and he gave her all the support she needed. She finally composed herself. "Thank you."
"Your welcome." He gently rubbed her back as he held her. "Why don't you start to unpack and I'll brew some tea?"
She nodded and slowly pulled away. He watched her disappear down the hallway before making his way towards the kitchen. He turned on the stove and put the kettle over the flame. As he opened the cabinet holding the tea, he heard an awful scream coming from the bedroom.
He raced out of the kitchen and entered the bedroom, nearly tripping along the way in his haste. He found Jennifer sitting on the bed, her knees buried in her chest with her arms wrapped around her legs. She was rocking back and forth and a look of sheer terror was showing on her face.
He sat on the bed and pulled her into his arms.
"What's wrong?"
"They're here….they're here…"
"Who's here?"
She looked him in the eyes. "The Nacinuds!"
