Oh, before I go, let me tell you a little about us. This board is for stories of all kinds, from writers of all kinds, as well as readers and gamers. So no, you don't have to be a writer to join, but you may find yourself as a writer when you leave. If you do. We do tend to have a bit of a Bermuda Triangle effect.
Oh good, here's Beth. Now, here we have a small array of exotic fruits (try the dragon fruit, seriously!), as well as some cured meats and fine Australian cheeses. Please, help yourself.
Right, so the story board, as you'll see, is broken up into a few bits and pieces. We have two story sections, which have spaces for original works, poetry, fanfic, Sims 2 stories and even RPG type threads. These are mirrored in the area you see roped off, over yonder. That's our 18+ area. Feel free to check it out, providing you're a: 18 and over and b: interested in the sort of things that are usually reserved for legal adults. Just so you're aware, there's nothing hardcore in there, just subject matters that those who are not of age needn't concern themselves with.
We also have the more casual lounge, where fraternization is strongly encouraged. Feel free to drop into the Chook House and chat about...whatever. There's the Fight Club, which...er...we really aren't supposed to talk about. It's the first rule, after all. All I can tell you is it's reserved for conversations of a more heated nature. So if you're itching for some mostly good natured debate, that's the spot to go. There's also the Dork Den, for discussing the newest games coming out (who's psyched about Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect? *raises hand*), well loved games of yore and anything else that tickles your geeky fancy.
The rules here are simple...you can read them, at length, in the link below, but to summarize: Do Unto Others, my friends. Even if you're not technically an adult yet (or are and have yet to come to terms with it *raises hand again*), it doesn't mean you can't behave yourself and treat others with respect. Trust us to weed out the donkey caps, because we will, without becoming one yourself.

What we mean by "porn" for the purposes of the general board
1. Anything prohibited by law, and therefore by Yuku's TOS. This includes images of children [ie, under 18s] in any activity considered sexual or sexually
provocative, bestiality, etc. It also includes any image designed to incite hatred of any group, race, creed, religion, sexuality or gender. Any child
porn posted in this forum will see the user summarily banned from this board and immediately reported to the appropriate authorities.
2. Any sex act depicted in RL photographical format or film, or in anime, cartoon or other artwork, or Sims 2 picture, or external links to these, including
links embedded in signatures.
For Sims 2 Stories in the general section, PG nudity is okay. This includes unpixellated sim bums, or pixellated nudity. Basically, whatever you can see in the
unhacked game in regards to woo-hoo, etc is fine, so long as your prose is also PG.
